Teva Pharmaceuticals Employee Reviews in United Kingdom

Technician\Sterile Operator (Current Employee) Preston brook Runcorn September 16, 2015

Typical day at work involves me carrying out daily checks on machines first thing, then I could either be bulk manufacturing or getting machines/mixing vessels ready for manufacture. CIP,SIP or maintenance. My co-workers are fun to work with and everyone is very helpful. The hardest part of my job is working over the Christmas holidays, and the most enjoyable part is completing given tasks on time.

Great valve canteen.

i am in training at the moment and learning every day. there is difficult shift pattern (12 hour pattern) which is very tiring. The management are unsure and seem reluctant to take charge and make decisions. I work with a dedicated team who are stifled by beurocracy and a management team with little or no experience of process manufacturing. I am enjoying learning and interacting with my team, but like many others in my department we find the work tiring with long periods without a break.

the job that i do has a high degree of job satisfaction, three 40 min breaks per shift (if you have time to take them) and a very cheap canteen.

a shift pattern that often sees 60 – 70 hour weeks, inexperienced leaders, average pay and long oeriods without a break during the shift.
